SMALL GATE TO GROOVE LOFT Many payers add too much loft by hitting up on the ball or take away loft by striking down on the ball. Instead, the putter should come through pretty level. You ball placement and putter’s loft will take care of the ideal 2.5 degrees of loft at impact. Using the mini-gate, practice striking the equator of the ball for a consistent loft for consistent rolls into the cup.
