Why get fitted?
When it comes to getting more distance and more greens in regulations, a player must understand the incredible influence their equipment has on centeredness of contact. That’s the name of the ball striking game. Optimize your body, technique and equipment to optimize center-face contact, repeatedly. In fact, that is the number one request I hear. The first place to look are your clubs. In this section, you’ll learn the important equipment variables for drivers and irons.
Clubs play a significant role in ball flight, distance and a golfer’s feel. When a club is properly fitted, the swing has the best chance of being efficient. Clubs that are not fitted may result in a player having to alter the swing (consciously or subconsciously) to make contact with the ball. The clubs also need to “look good” from the player’s perspective. Clubs provide confidence when properly fitted for your size, strength, skill level and swing characteristic, you are that much closer to more pars. So, let’s get to it!
