An Uphill Lie Situation
-
Uphill Lie over Water - Oh My!
My ball landed in the rough on an uphill lie. Typically, this would be fine if I had open fairway in front of me… but here, I have open water… and lots of it. Plus, I’ve got a protected green.
-
Severely Uphilly
When you find your ball on a severe uphill slope here’s what to do besides panic. Keep the panic in the bag and depending on your lie select the right club. Remember the loft of the hill steals distance.

Ball Below Thy Feet
-
Ball Well Below Feet
My ball landed in the rough on a steep slope. I am getting a yardage which is 89 to the pin. I am going with my PW which is my 100 yard club because I know that I will be swinging at 80 percent …and maybe even less… considering the severity of the slope so more club is a wise choice.
